      There are 50 states in America.My state I learned about is Nevada. My state came into union october, 31, 1864. That was a long time ago. Nevada is the 36th state. The capital of Nevada is Carson City. two major cities are Las Vegas and Carson City. I  think Las Vegas is cool and pretty.  

     They're several land forms that are in Nevada. The longest river is Humboldt River wich is 500 miles long! Nevada is connected with california and Lake Tahoe and I have been there.  The Walker River is in Montana. It flows into Walker lake The Humboldt River is the longest river in the Great Basin and Nevada's longest The record high temperature   125*F the coldest temperature  is 48.
